Low Attrition Is KEY When Building A Successful Network Marketing Business

 -#4 of a series of 20 posts-
Sounds like a no brainer since the main reason we join this industry is to create lifelong residual income, right?

Low attrition and residual income go hand in hand. If people are not staying in the masses and consistently ordering over time, then the business is not residual. Residual income is when you open an account today and that customer orders month after month for years to come. Here's a powerful personal example: I personally enrolled 13 new customers my first month in my business. That was January 2003. Today 12 years later, one of those customers has died, two left and the other 10 have shopped every month. I have been paid 144 months on the shopping of those happy customers...this is true residual income. Another cool factoid: those original 13 grew to a total of 86 customers that first 30 days, 2/3rds of those customers received checks that month and I personally earned $4,513.84.

In one of my previous posts, I spoke about having a high customer reorder rate... this is one of the main pieces of the puzzle that create low attrition. Most people in this industry are playing the 'replacement game'. They're constantly replacing the masses of people that are leaving with new people. Think about that for a moment... could it ever truly be residual?

Low attrition is another one of the 12 Success Factors.  Again, this is the checklist that has been created by top industry leaders to determine if a company has the ability to fulfill on the promise of lifelong residual income.

High attrition is one of the biggest reasons network marketers fail. If you're in a company now, I'd recommend printing out a copy of the 12 Success Factors and line up your company next to them to see if it has ALL of them. If the company is missing ANY of these factors, you really have to ask yourself if you're willing to invest your time, energy and reputation.

The TRUTH About "Timing" In Network Marketing...

-#3 of a series of 20 posts-
There is so much talk about 'timing' in the network marketing industry. It's a part of everyone's pitch "Get in now... ground floor opportunity".

If that's the pitch, then what do you tell the prospects you're talking to 2, 3, 5, 10 years from now?

People looking for the ground level opportunities are a big reasons why network marketers fail. If you're in a company now, I'd recommend printing out a copy of the "12 Success Factors" and line up your company next to them to see if it aligns will ALL of them. If your company is missing ANY of these factors, you really have to ask yourself if you're willing to invest your time, energy and reputation behind it.

Is Your MLM Company Hurting Anyone?

-#2 of a series of 20 posts-
Most people never think about this question... but the sad truth is MANY people are getting hurt.
More lives have been destroyed, more marriages have resulted in divorce, more people have gone into debt due to the MLM business model compared to any other business model on the planet. That's a very bold statement, but very true.

I have heard story after story of people who believed in the industry promise of lifelong residual income, but it wasn't delivered due to the faults in the MLM business model. Having a lot of risk is one of the main reasons why network marketers fail.

As I've spoke about in many other posts, the “12 Success Factors” is deemed by top industry leaders to be the checklist that you need in a company to create lifelong residual income. This checklist has literally changed many people’s lives in this industry who have been struggling.

Having NO RISK is one of the "12 Success Factors".  This checklist was designed around the masses, the 80%'ers.  It was created with them in mind. Most of the companies out there don't keep the 80's in mind. Here's your copy of this checklist every serious home business owner needs to have:    The 12 Success Factors

If you're in a company now, I'd recommend printing out a copy of the "12 Success Factors" and line up your company next to this list to see if it aligns will ALL of them. If the company is missing ANY of these factors, you really have to ask yourself if you're willing to invest your time, energy and reputation behind it.

Why MLM Doesn't Work...

You might disagree with the title of this post... but after reading this article, I think you'll agree with me that MLM doesn't work, and that it never will. The MLM business model has destroyed more lives, resulted in more marriages ending in divorce and cause more debt than any other business model on the planet!

It's no secret that MLM doesn't work, just Google "MLM Horror Stories" or "MLM Nightmares" and see for yourself. The business model has some major faults that stop it from fulfilling on the industry promise of creating lifelong residual income for the masses. It lures so many in due to the smoke and mirrors... the lifestyle pitches, the rah-rah, etc. You'll see, I can personally speak from experience. I was involved with an MLM company for several years, I made a great income with that company, it just wasn't lifelong residual income like the industry promises.

Why MLM Doesn't Work...
The #1 reason why people join this industry is for residual income... but if you look at most people's business reports in MLM that have put up some decent numbers (most of them will not show you the real numbers), usually the masses stop ordering 30, 60 or 90 days after starting. Residual means long term... and I don't consider a few months of ordering long term.

I had over hundreds of people in that business, but only a few dozen were even placing an order... and the majority of them were only placing and order to remain active to be eligible to earn a commission. On top of that, the company (which had been around for over 15 years) sold (under pressure) in January 2002 and then, the new owners (a sports celeb) bankrupt the company within 10 months. Because of this, I lost my income, so I can truly speak from a place of posture when I share this information.

A bit after that, I was introduced to an INC500, TripleA BBB company and in researching this company, I figured out why MLM doesn't work. I found a business that DOES produce lifelong residual income for the masses. An American corporation where nobody is getting hurt and nobody is losing money.

It's been a blessing... 12 years ago I started my business and I now have hundreds of people: happy customers and a group of partners. I'm now enjoying true lifelong residual income because of our 95% month-to-month re-order rate. In fact, in my first 30 days in January 2003, of the 13 people I personally referred, 10 have shopped every month for 12 years and although most have never engaged as a partner, all have received a monthly profit sharing check, too. I've been able to help so many that have been burned by the MLM business model. Leaders have joined us in business because they're tired of building something, only to have it fall apart.

If you're interested in finding out about our business: get the facts, do your research and learn the benefits of partnering with us. If you agree with me that MLM doesn't work, you can call me any time to ask questions and learn more.

Here's the guideline for this series of 20 articles, exploring: Why MLM Doesn't Work... And Why It NEVER Will!          The 12 Success Factors

The Dangers of Dryer Sheets

I read a startling and shocking article that posed the question as to whether fabric softeners laced with chemicals contribute to SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome). According to Dr. Ron Harper, of the UCLA Medical School Brain Research Institute, he believes that an anaphylactic reaction (hypersensitivity to a foreign substance) is responsible for some SIDS cases. He further states that fabric softeners with their array of chemical components could not be ruled out as possible causative agents.
According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and industry-generated Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), there is a mind-boggling list of dangerous petrochemicals in these products, many of them used in untested combinations, there are many chemicals found in fabric softeners and dryer sheets such as Alpha-Terpineol, Benzyl Acetate, Benzyl Alcohol, Camphor, Chloroform, Ethyl Acetate and others. These chemicals have been found to cause various health problems including central nervous system disorders, irritation to mucous membranes, pancreatic cancer, irritation to upper respiratory tract, headaches, nausea, vomiting, dizziness and the list goes on and on.
With this information, it makes sense to begin using more natural and safe fabric softener for the health of your family. I have listed a few healthy tips for you to consider as you keep your home a "healthy home."
What To Look For
  • AVOID fabric softeners that contain benzyl acetate, formaldehyde, camphor, chloroform, ethyl acetate, pentane, linalool and limonene.
  • Fabric softeners made with natural ingredients not chemicals.
Healthy Tips
  • Add baking soda to your rinse cycle.
  • Vinegar is a natural fabric softener - add ½ cup to your wash cycle.
  • Wash and dry cottons and synthetic fabrics separately.
  • Synthetic fabrics contribute to static cling so consider not using your dryer for nylon, rayon and other synthetic fabrics.

Protect Kids from Toxic Chemicals

Children are more affected by toxic chemicals for many reasons. Children eat, drink, and breathe more than adults in relation to their body size. This means they are at greater risk for health problems from toxic chemicals.

Adults need to be careful around toxic chemicals too, especially women who plan to become pregnant, are pregnant, or are nursing. Some toxics are stored in the body and build up over time. A woman can pass toxics to her developing fetus which may affect the brain and health of the developing baby.
